Lush and Green in high Summer! Come and visit us this Sunday, 7th August!

The Indian Pool Garden with its new, tropical look

Come and Visit us This Sunday!

Summer’s here and we’re opening our gates to everyone this Sunday for the first time this season! There’s plenty to see – the herbaceous border is taking off, laced with vibrant purples and pinks, our Indian pool garden has a new tropical look, complete with exotic specimen plants, the Drove Road is a tangle of foxgloves and ferns, and the herb garden is fresh and soothing. There’s a new little alpaca in the fold: a handsome, jet-black boy called Milton, a friend for the little white yearling, Dipley. Enjoy wandering through the meadows or finding a quiet spot to sit by the river. And then there’s the delicious tea and cakes of course….

We look forward to welcoming you on Sunday – Gates open from 2-5.30pm. Entry charge (for the National Gardens Scheme£6. Children under 16 free.

Raring to go in 2016!

We’ve just about survived the winter torrents as the River Whitewater rushes through the gardens, and plans are well underway for an exciting year at Dipley Mill!

We were honoured to be selected for the cover of the NGS Hampshire booklet this year, so you may see images of Vesta’s garden festooned with roses and cosmos floating around your local garden centre!

We look forward to welcoming you in the summer!
